names mentioned in the article are Bill Hall, Corey Koskie, Wilson Betimet, and Andy Marte. Says a move will more than likely have to include Kotteras.
Why in the hell would the Indians want to trade Marte? Granted, I'd cream myself over a Kotteras + Schmucks for Marte deal, but I just don't see why a low budget team would trade their best prospect for a prospect whose position is firmly fulfilled already by Victor Martinez.

I didn't want this thread with it's information, to be locked. So I moved the discussion I wanted to lock to its own thread.

Ensberg looks like the more suitable option here.

Rufio is right, it looks like the Padres will make a deal for Ensberg once he comes off the DL. He had an MRI yesterday and it showed no structural damage to his shoulder. Yes, he has a .236 BA, but he has an OBP at almost .400 and can hit the ball out of the park with the best of them.

Hey Reefer, here's another opinion you can get offended by...

Fresno State WILL upset LSU on the road

Houston's Morgan Ensberg has been added to the list of third baseman the Padres are evaluating for a possible trade, says the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Well considering they have a replacement for Ensberg already there and and he is a FA after this year, its not that wacky. Problem is it wouldn't solve Houston's offensive trouble. Totally different than someone like...I don't know...Zimmerman!!

According to the Fox Sports article by Ken Rosenthal, it seems he's of the opinion that the Astros WILL NOT move Ensberg...but we've heard that line before.

"The Astros are not expected to move Morgan Ensberg, who is on the disabled list with a shoulder injury."

I wouldn't change it just yet Rufio....GM's have said they're not going to move a guy and then 2 weeks later that same guy gets traded.
