Word from my sources is that Jake Peavy has shoulder tendinitis? Any reason to be concerned? Hopefully the Padres monitor this thing closely and treat him with extra precaution.

I would take a Jake Peavy with shoulder tendanitis over a lot of pitchers in the big leagues. He's got 4 days to rest and heal, he'll be good as new for his next start.
