at 12-4 the Padres currently have the best road record in Major League Baseball.
The 10-12 record at home drags the overall record down, but the play at home is picking up as well, as evident by the current run.

hehe that will change as the Padres come to Arizona
I'm not sure that AZ can compete with us if we're hitting ...... our pitching has been pretty solid all year ( thank god ) and now the bats are sounding off.......we'll see
Hey 777rak, the way the Padres are playing, I'm not sure they can be beaten right now. That being said, Brandon Webb is one of the best pitchers in the NL right now, but if he leaves just a few pitches up and pays for them, Chan Ho has been pitching well enough to shut down the DBacks.

Leo, I take sole and full responsibility for the loss last night. Josh made 2 bad errors that cost 3 runs and Linebrink couldn't keep the lead.

So far he's right
Padres still left Arizona with the lead in the NL West heading to an off day before going to Seattle tonight. The Padres should take at least 2 of 3 this weekend.

Padres need to put the stigma of Seattle behind them.........this is another team that gives them fits.......I think its from the fact that they play them more during spring than any other team, so they are familar with eachother....but damn it Seattle is bad........this NEEDS to be a sweep
