So much for me picking the 'under' on this game. Maddux is just getting absolutely destroyed right now. 7-1 already. Cubs finally pull Maddux and bring in Glendon Rusch to face Piazza the Hutt.

Wait wait wait ... Glendon Rusch pitches out of the bullpen now??

Padres looking really sharp in May.

I could care less about the east coast bias...I'm so done with the East coast Sports Programming Network(ESPN) salivating over the Yankees and Red Sox and being complete homers.

oh yeah, I brought a broom to the game yesterday, but the Eliete security bastards confiscated it at the gate.

I did have fun with it prior to the game with all the Cub fans walking about, though.

Some guy had sawed his off and he and his buddy smuggled it in and taped it back together...........that was sweet

ESPN showed 5 minutes of Bonds last night and he didn't even play, but the hottest team in MLB got a 20 sec. spot.......what a joke they've become.... I equate it to MTV in the early 80's to MTV now........just a joke compared to what it was and what made it a power

I was real discreet with my broom and got past the ticket gate and got it in.

I was almost home free when one of the Eliete guys noticed me as I was headed to my seat.

Here's the rule I don't get...you can only bring water bottles into the ballpark if they're sealed...don't they know it's going to be opened once they step into the ballpark? I've never understood that.

the water bottle issue is from people smuggling Vodka in......if the bottle is sealed it lends to the product actually being water, not vodka or some other alcohol......

some of the ballpark rules are just stupid......... they sold those water fans to keep cool, but now you can't bring those in.......huh ??? what ??? hotter than the 7th pit of hell and we can't bring those in........uh hello
