Fan throws syringe at Bonds!

As a general rule for me, any fan who throws anything on the field should be banned from the stadium from the extended period of time. This is no different.

if MLB takes a harsher stance against fans than they do against players cheating and in essence stealing millions of dollars, it would be an outrage.....both actions should be condemned......... not just the fans.......had Bonds not done what most believe him to have done, the fan would not have done what he did........ Cause and effect it's a helluva thing

I'm one of the biggest Bonds bashers around but I didn't like seeing that; not cool IMO. I blame Bud Selig for alot of this mess. BTW, when an A's fan throws a HR ball back onto the field they are immediately thrown out of the stadium.

I had a very good vantage point on it and i'm 98 percent certain it would've bounced off the top of the wall had Winn not been there.

But it's a moot point, so we may as well not further the debate.

I bought the digital download of the game from MLB.com and I stand corrected. It would've been out.

Well they said they couldnt see who throw the syringe so how could they throw them out. But i would have to say Bonds should have this going on to him. He is cheating. That is great punishment. I think the fan should of been thrown out but how would u know who it was in a packed stadium. + there is no point worrying about it so late in the game. They would of looked at it and by the time they figured it out the game would be over. If it happened at the start it would of been a different thing.

the analogy doesn't fit because nobody threw syringes at the entire Giants team. (which would be akin to you threatening the lives of everyone in the buildings because some of them are adulturers and what not...on the obvious smaller scale, of course)

But I get what you mean and was trying to think up a similar analogy myself earlier.

Bonds may be a cheater, but that doesn't make throwing stuff on the field ok.

Fans are not employees of MLB, the players are, its for the best interest for an employer to make sure there employees work in a safe environment
