Are we really that deprived in prospects?
There's a number of people that won't even consider moving a prospect. They've also been in a constant state of rebuilding and rarely contend for the playoffs. Others are just crotchety about trading anything young.

We typically have a drop off after the top picks. And there's usually not much depth past round 1. Taking a page out of OM's book, we don't tend to have many of those 3.5-4 star prospects that need one talent boost to be good types, after the first round.
