Philly Deadline Block/Needs

Philly is looking for a backup catcher. Someone with good defense/arm and who can at least hit .275 with decent OBP/OPS.

Philly is willing to trade SS-George Ware at a bargain price due to his less than desirable contract. Looking for a STUD MR and/or a decent defensive SS who can fit into the 8th slot in the lineup.

I was fairly interested in Ware, I can obviously take on his contract. I was hoping your starting catcher sucked cause we could really help ourselves since I have about 60 C's and could use help in the infield, i.e., a real infielder.

But, since you have a good C, would you be interested in Jones or Mann as your backup?

I am interested in Mann. I wish he his ratings were heavy towards RHP instead of LHP, but I'll take a shot since the deadline is looming and I have no other decent options.

Can I interest you in Zamudio or Ingram or Jones or Browner or Cartegana or Betancourt or ???

I just don't see what I can get in return for Ware unless I can get a couple STUD MRs, which I really only need one...

My closer became something of a cult legend lately, but there's no way -even with my finances- I'd take all 17 million of Ware.
