New file, back to the beginning... I think it sounds exciting. And saves you lots of frustration.

I'm sure that would be alright to some. However it doesn't fix the difficulty he has simming in general on his LapTop. :-(

Yeah, that is the biggest problem.

And it does seem like the league file is corrupt. I tried to make a backup when I rolled over, but my VM crashed and then I forgot about it the next time I started.

On one hand, I would enjoy seeing Philly put up another season with the 5th-7th best record in the NL, but on the other hand, this league has been around forever... It could be time to retire it to the Hall of Fame of OOTP leagues.

Mission, will you please run a new league or maybe even a football, basketball, or hockey sim league?!?

it really sucks the league is gone, ive been in this league since its first start date. i think me, mission and dave were the only 3 that lasted the entire time.

at the same time, maybe mission wants to fold up shop? obviously im not saying he purposely corrupted the file to stop simming... but hes been doing this league for what... gotta be 8-9 years now, if not longer? and it seemed it was becoming more and more of a chore every year. maybe he just wants to end it, and just be a participant. im sure donating would be greatly appreciated, but it would probably also make him feel obligated to continue on running this, even if/when he doesnt want to.

i got no problems donating if thats what it comes to... but i also think that perhaps this is a new window for somebody else to kick start a new league, and allow mission to call it a day. of course, if he wants to keep running a league... then hey, fantastic. but he was talking about retiring the league a couple seasons back in the first place. maybe this is the time.

For the record, I do have July 1 2036 as a backup, so the world wouldn't be terribly different. And I really don't know what to do. One thought is to try the backup and just sim at my mom's house, but it would be like once, maybe twice a week, as that makes it a little more hard to get changes in.

If you're willing to have us buy you a desktop, seems like we could all figure something out. I've got some things laying around that I need to upgrade anyway (1080p monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc).

I know Prov at one point brought up restarting TSSL... and if he didn't want to, I wouldn't mind starting up a new league either... I know this has been a lot for you... and maybe this is the file telling you its time
