I would love to help monatarily.... But I'm going to have twins in less than 10 weeks so I'm out in that reguard... Anything else I can do, pass it along.

If its cash Missions needs for a new computer I will be willing to add 50 bucks to the cause. I for one dont want the league to end.

Mission try this go into safe mode and go back like 30 days or so and then try the game and see what happens. My guess is you have a virus on the computer and thus the slow computer. One more thing defragment your computer too. This will free up space on the hard drive. If things are still slow and programs crash then we all should chip in and get you a computer. We all need eight more years of your comish services!

Very few people would want that. They want this league or nothing.

I don't mean to disrespect Mission because I have all the respect in the world for him, and I do love this league, but why is this league on so much of a pedistal that it'd somehow ruin the fun of other leagues if it was not around?

I, for one, would love to see TSSL make a return. I don't mean that in a sense that I'd want this one to go to make room, but if Mission decided he didn't want to do this anymore I'd absolutely love to see a TSSL comeback.

Most of the league has been together for at least 10 seasons. A good portion has been together in the league for even longer. We've been used to a routine for almost its entirety and lately it's been slowed up only cause of Mission's computer/OOTP issues, having a life, running the forums, etc. all at once. But it's the very idea of having something we could almost always expect. When he said he was simming on a day, it happened. I think a lot of people like that.

And I think a lot of people would go for a new league, if it had to happen, however there will not be very many candidates that will garner overwhelming support. I'm being honest, there's probably 2 maybe 3 active members right now that I would support and want to see run a league- whether it's picking up where S3SL leaves off or starting a brand new entity. The 3 current leagues have had a long life, and we've seen quite a number over the years start and quickly end. We don't want that to happen again, especially if it's something that follows this league.

And there's a lot of work rolled into leagues, and I think a lot of people don't fully grasp that until they try to run a league. And then they find out..fast. (And hopefully they find a new level of respect for the current and past commissioners)

Yeah, I get why people would hate to see this league go. I'd hate to see it go and I haven't been in it for as long as most of the GMs.

I just don't think it should kill overall interest in OOTP leagues if Mission decided he didn't want to do this one anymore.

I offered to start it up again (i.e. continue it), but never really got a response about it. Now I'd still be willing to do it if I could piggyback off this site like the other leagues are (not having to pay for hosting and everything like I did before). I would need to finish the season that the file is in. I just checked. Apparently, I did finish the last season I was doing on my own. The date in the game is 1/31/2024. I ran two seasons since I ended it. Anaheim beat Pittsburgh 4 - 2 in 2022 and Washington swept Detroit 4 - 0 in 2023.

The rosters are obviously different. I've been running my Cardinals and the CPU has been running the other teams. I made some trades with my team and the CPU did the same. I don't remember if I did anything with the draft classes.
