Gonna go ahead and say that Texas and Philly didn't understand the market dynamics of the S-Class free agents.

Meh, the rest of you had a ton of money available, and my team has sucked for so long I had to do something. Sure I overpaid, but who cares. I just don't wanna be terrible forever.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I got the player I needed in Ruperto Paiva but I wish I got some pitching to go along with

Houston will regret signing Peter Sells to 'bolster' the rotation.

You are absolutely right! Much to my chagrin... I looked at available FA money for the teams that could bid and figured that most bids would be above 12 million. At that point, do I want to take a chance with a 13 or 14 million bid or seal it up. As with most signings, it will depend on the players production as to whether he was worth his contract. I am exstatic with the Vaughn and Obanion signings and obviously wish I would have went with a 12-14 offer on Ware. I do feel fairly good about competing against the S3SL powerhouse dynasty now.

Best signing of all, is Cannon at 3.5 million. Why didn't the knucklehead wait a few more days... lol.

A couple players don't elevate you from crapdom.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

I guess. Unfortunately for you, the division champs also signed good players. Philly will have it rough if they don't magically make some cash, half their team are arbitration eligible. He'll be living the life of Dave soon.

I don't think this is crapdom:

    C-Zubiri
    1B-Anders
    2B-Giminez
    3B-Ozuna
    SS-Ware
    LF-Benninger
    CF-Obanion
    RF-Burpee

    Staff:

    1. Treadwell
    2. Vaughn
    3. Utterback
    4. Ramos
    5. Swinford

    Pen:

    Fisher
    Patrick
    Hubbard
    Deshazo
    Melton
    Bedouin
    Butler

I guess I shouldn't have celebrated the signings so much. I definitely give Florida the title of "team to beat".

My bust then, it was right under my post. I guess I am sensitive since I am trying very hard to build Philly into a dynasty. He is right about my cash. I gotta win and I gotta win on some promo days to bring up the fan interest and the revenue.
