    The Guidi Situation

    As you can tell, possibly the best hitter in the class didn't sign as the teams who wanted he hate and the teams he liked showed no interest. And having him be first come, first serve is a little boring and unfair I think. So, we'll have blind bidding for him until 10 PM tonight (12/29). To bid on him, post a thread titled "(Your Team)- Guidi Offer" on this forum:

    He will listen to everyone and while he'll only sign a one year contract, I will edit his contract to be a multi-year contract if offered (as that will likely be a better offer for him.) I don't know if I will be around at 10 to post who gets him, but it should happen by tomorrow.

    No sign and trades. I hate to make rules, so just avoid it, especially if you're doing it for a sizeable return as a player of Guidi's talent would return. Anyway, this is what you missed:
