why do you think importing a couple historical players be worse then editing players to make them better? i'm curious..

i dont want them edited either... but i hate the idea of bringing guys back from the past. for this league at least... its unrealistic, but it works for crazy's for league. it just wouldnt work for this league, i think everything should remain natural in this league... no steroids, no bringing back from the dead.

And I agree with the thoughts on the realism, if this was done I would rather create players either from the DR or Japan to make this more realistic. We can all pretend we're West Coast big market teams or New York teams for a minute.

I would also be fine with lowering the NTC to July 1st.

Having nifty imports for free agency is a lot cooler than modifying existing people. Of course I'm sure the imports would be modified bums anyways, but that would be more interesting than seeing Adam Dunn or something have a career resurgence.

I voted for it. A little bit of tweaking shouldn't dampen those contending teams like Colorado, Florida, and Minnesota to name a few.

I voted no. But I'm not adding much in terms of FA. I think everyone who looks at the positives needs to realize if a team in their division benefits, and they don't, tough luck, don't *****.

But I have a cynical attitude towards this. If everyone does this the right way and doesn't abuse it's a good idea.

The league was getting somewhat stale and mission's doing something that's desperately needed to give the transaction market a shot in the arm.

The best approach to this is prolly a one year basis, as a test, to see how things play out. Cause I figure with actual talent, more teams will actively participate in free agency.
