Hillier is a piece of work. His strength is clearly versus lefties, yet he isn't touching them according to his splits and is actually doing much better versus RHP. I can't deny his obvious pop, and he's great power off the bench and as an occasional sub on the infield, whether spotting someone for the day or just as a defensive replacement. That all said he's always been a huge liability as an every day starter, and would probably strike out over 200 times in a full season. With the fact that he's hitting righties so well maybe I'll just try and start him full-time for a sim and see how he responds, I mean maybe he'll start hitting lefties then lol.

Good deal on Nuno. I'm going to hold off on Hudson for a little bit and make sure he doesn't fizzle, and I'll probably pass on Alonso all together at that price (even if he's leading my team in wins and tied for 2nd in the AL overall). Maybe Hillier will change his tune before the deadline, but I'll block him for now anyway.

I'll try Averill again near the end of the year, otherwise he can go to arby. Too nervous to lock someone up like him long-term..

Damn and Hillier is actually playing really good off the bench. I would've liked to keep him at this point, he's a solid player and an insane pinch hitter (6 pinch hit hrs!). Will he listen to offers at all or does it not even come up when you try? Sometimes they'll listen despite wanting to test the market and being unhappy with playing time.

Wallace - 3 yrs, 5.1 mil per ... don't know if it'll be anywhere near enough but with his arby estimate so low...
