x = runs scored
y = hits made
z = errors

You are looking for the team whose (x+y-z) equals the highest number.

So if the Yankees have 0 runs, 0 hits, and 3 errors, you will have a score of -3 (I wish). If the Red Sox have 12 runs, 12 hits, and 2 errors, you will have a score of 22.
