Mega-Bet: Beat the Streak

This is how this topic is going to work. I will list two starters from each MLB team, the two with the highest BA as of TODAY. You bet on the one, or three, or ten, or whatever you think will have the longest hitting streak AMONG THESE PLAYERS. The odds will go as such no matter who they are

Leaders: 45:1
Second Placers: 70:1

So if Ichiro and Johjima lead the M's in BA, Ichiro is a 45:1 bet and Johjima is 70:1

A few notes

A) If I messed up your teams two starters, I apologize, but I went with the two I felt would start most of the time and were most likely bolded on the ESPN Stat Sheet. Some exceptions were Braun (MIL) and Mauer (MIN)

B) If you want someone in there and he has been a starter, tell me, and I'll add him in with odds appropriate to his BA.

C) This bet closes at the END of Sunday, with results counting from Monday on

D) If he's benched and doesn't play: his streak continues. If he's benched and PH and gets out, it's over. If he gets DLed, I'll refund the bet. If he's a starter now and is benched during the bet, there's not much I can do. I'll offer a buyout if I see that a player is coasting on the bench, your choice to take it.

E) We'll go until we have a winner, no ties. Much like the spelling bee, if the last two both go hitless on the same day, they are both alive.

So it's the longest hitting streak from the beginning of this bet until the end?...what if somebody had a streak going already?

Everything fresh. Meaning everyone starts with 0 and the last one to not have a hitless game wins.

If the last streaks end on the same day/number of games, than yes, there's a possibility of having more than one winner.

David Eckstein, Darin Erstad, BJ Upton were placed on the DL last week.
