The Friday Game Score Bet

OK, since pitching probables are out for Friday's game and everyone's playing, I've decided to make a league wide bet for then.

You want to predict the SP who will have the highest Game Score on Friday. The probables are up and all will be listed, if a pitcher is subbed in (for instance, if Jered Weaver doesn't pitch and Kelvim Escobar is subbed in), then he takes the spot for his team.

Additionally, there will be larger bets (division, league, non-listed pitcher, etc.), RPs don't count for Game Score (not that they usually do). This is for Friday, May 25th.

Where'd you get the list of probables? Yahoo says Seo is starting for TB on Friday, and there's no way I'm picking him if Sheilds isn't really the guy.

I took my probables off of ESPN

If the probables change and you've already made a bet, post in this topic and I'll refund the cash upon the end of the bet.

And if ESPN is wrong on a bunch of them (say, 10+), I'll refund everyone's cash and make this a bonus. If the probables change with no bets on them, I'll change the pitcher in the bet if possible

if the starter is changed, then that guy counts for you as you said, right? Do you win the "no one on the list" bet because he wasn't actually on the list?

At this point, four of them are different. Seo and Shields are obviously different (majorly) in quality. I'd wait to bet on that one until something more definitive appears.

Zambrano/Marquis (CHC), Desalvo/Clippard (NYY), and Maine/Vargas (NYM) are the three other different ones. The last two have no bets at this point, and Zambrano/Marquis has a bet (Shields/Seo doesn't either). I'd suggest holding off on those for now if possible. If CHC's bet wants a refund, I'll give it. The other ones are consistant

PA: Yes. If (for instance) Zambrano starts instead of Marquis and wins, the person who bet on Marquis wins his bet, and the "no one listed" bet wins (along with NL Central and NL)

I'll just stick with Unit, much better odds and he had a stellar performance on Sunday.

Randy Johnson has been scratched...can we/I get a refund on that one? Edgar Gonzalez is starting instead...

Also, the following changes have occured accoring to Yahoo and ESPN

LAD: Hendrickson to Lowe
CHC: Marquis/Zambrano to Lilly
NYY: Desalvo to Clippard

Colorado has Buchholz on one and Hirsh on the other.
New York has Maine on one and Vargas on the other (good bet there if it's Maine)
Florida has Willis on one and Mitre on the other.
