Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

I was thinking more of sports teams in general. It doesn't have to be your favorite team. If you were to choose to follow the Yankees or the Red Sox, which would you choose? Something like that.
I was thinking along the lines of sports moments in the past 20 years or so... less homerism there, thus not reliant on how many on this board are from a certain city... when it comes to moments, most true fans can go above just homerism.....

Damn... my favorite movie of all time is a sequel...
I think though, if movies is a possibility, it should be of the modern era... past 20 years or so... we see SO many lists of best all time movies... and frankly, I don't know if even 5% of the teens around have seen the likes of Citizen Kane, Metropolis, Nosferatu, Yankee Doodle Dandy, or the like

I like the thing of including all sports.... I'm always leery of team lists in these things though because of homerism.... 1 Cincy team represented, with the amount of Cincy fans on this board, would skew the vote just because of that... no offense to Cincy fans, they were just chosen as an example, not trying to insinuate anything... but we know homerism can really take over
Somehow I think that sometimes players, and moreso moments, can be less effected... because players and moments can sometimes span the gap... whereas a Yankee event will almost always get voted down inherently by a Red Sox fan (again, just an example)... But Lou Gehrig's speech (for example) can be respected even by a Sox fan

in regards to the movies/sequals thing....if a movie has sequals why not just make it all one choice? Such as "Star Wars series" or "Major League 1 and 2" (3 doesn't count cuz it was garbage)

Well.. good and bad with that
A series may be a great series, but no one movie is say top 10 material... and that could make some people weigh things differently....
I'd say a game for individual movies... AND maybe a game for movie series
