I'm still trying to figure out how either the second worst or the worst reality show on the list put up a real fight while the others flopped miserably. If this flopped too, I understand it's because most people don't like reality shows. But this outcome?

I would have to agree.
I'd like to further note that, Survivor and The Amazing Race may be reality, but in hindsight, they're game shows. Sure, it could go either way or both ways on Survivor, but think about TAR. It's even in the damn title.

Yeah, TAR is really tied into the reality title by necessity, but it isn't like most of the other shows. The closest thing it has is that it eliminates people (groups) one at a time to get down a small group to compete for a prize. There is little alliance strategy and such
