yea, I heard about that leaking, too...I have both APC CDs, but I'm not really into Tool

Have you heard TVOTR before? A lot of people like it better than their 1st LP and people loved that (it also won that "short list" prize for "best album across all genres of music")...I really can't describe it as other than nothing else out there. They switched over to interscope and are already touring...they're also going to be playing half of NIN's tour.

I have the whole album...supposedly anyway...they say an umastered version leaked, but it sounds great to me other than typic low quality mp3 garbage. It's supposed to come out in June.

from their Bio on allmusic:

The Brooklyn-based group TV on the Radio mixes post-punk, electronic and other atmoshperic elements in such a creative way that it only makes sense that its core duo, vocalist Tunde Adebimpe and multi-instrumentalist/producer David Andrew Sitek, are both visual artists as well as musicians. Adebimpe is a graduate of NYU's film school and specializes in stop-motion animation, which his Brothers Quay-like video for the Yeah Yeah Yeah's single Pin demonstrates amply. He is also a painter, as is Sitek, who also produced the Yeah Yeah Yeah's Machine EP and their full-length Fever to Tell. The duo met when Sitek moved into the building where Adebimpe had a loft; each of them had been recording music on their own, but realized their sounds would work well together.

They ended up winning that competition as I said beating out the killers, franz ferdinand, air, wilco, Dizzee Rascal, Ghostface Killah, the streets, and a couple outher.

Prov, it's me mission, come on. It's been way too long since their last release and truthfully, I didn't even know that there was something planned, so the news of some new tunes is rad. Hopefully the bio you provided, will turn on some new listeners. Damn, I want to listen to Ambulance now.

2 years is usually about the average between albums...the album and an EP came out in 2004...well, to me it was a single, not an EP, but whatever.

k, well the album is titled "Return to Cookie Mountain" (a reference to the super mario game on SNES from what I've heard...cookie mountain was an area IIRC and they are "avid video gamers" supposedly)

Eh, depends on the band but two years is about the norm. Than again, their cd's aren't usually jampacked of songs and being a greedy person, it never feels like its enough. Thanks for the info.
