Defiance, Ohio- The Temperature is Dropping
Got my weekly order of cd's (Defiance, Ohio- The Great Depression, Moneen- The Red Tree and Saves The Day- Sound The Alarm.)
I would ask who those bands were, but since I haven't heard of them, I wouldn't enjoy them for sure.
Crossfade - Dead Skin
One of them was a gift for my girlfriend, but yeah, I don't think think they would be your cup of tea (especially the folk-punk.)
A Wilhelm Scream- Diver
Something I've never heard before:
The Cooper Temple Clause - Been Training Dogs
Good tune.Originally Posted by A'sDiehard

(not a bad remake actually).
Metallica - Wherever I May Roam
Listening to some of my heavier tunes tonight..
You know what... that Black Album gets a lot of flack from the die-hard metallica "purists". It's overproduced and quite a bit different from their earliest works.
I tell ya what, screw'm. The black album rocks. Over-produced or not (well, I can concede, it IS overproduced), it flat out rocks from the opening chords of Enter Sandman to the final notes of Struggle Within.
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Ain't Gone 'n Give Up On Love
(every time I listen to this guy, I'm reminded of what an incredible talent he was. So sad he was taken from us so tragically)
Yeah, you're right. It's a pretty good record. Not their best, but damn good.Originally Posted by Lynch

Great album so far, I could see this making my top ten for the year.
