Listening to that now. Didn't like it last time, but we shall see.Originally Posted by Lynch

Not bad at all. I think it's a song that doesn't sound the greatest just hearing it in the background as I likely did last time, but actually paying attention to it, it has some nice nuances and I like the way it works.
Next up:Weezer - Perfect Situation. I really like this song.

It's got a very long ending.... probably a bit too long, but the tune itself just emitts a drugged out group. Not that I'd condone the drugs, but the Beatles really put out some of their greatest work once they lost the bowl cut hairdoos and discovered a few vices.
In other words, it also completely emitts / oozes the feel of that time period.
Sometimes going down a special road leads to great things..

Yea that's definitely true. I like the early Beatles stuff, Please Please Me is a great one to me, but their late works are great too. Really different too. They are really good to listen to and discover some interesting sounds that do work. I really love Sgt. Peppers personally. I think that one and Please Please Me along with A Hard Day's Night are my top 3. Might need to relisten to Abbey Road though because I have a feeling I just kinda had it on last time.Originally Posted by Lynch

Aweful: I'd suggest it to anyone who even "kinda" likes the Beatles. Depending on which poll you check out, Abbey Road can be considered in the top 10 or 20 albums of all time (on quite a few). For me personally, it was their swan song. Parts of it are really a story of sorts. There's only a couple of tracks that I really don't dig (octopuss's garden and mean mr. mustard) but the rest are solid.
Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End is listed as 3 seperate tracks, but it's one continuous tune that should never be seperated.
BTW: Currently playing...

Well I took the Lynch challenge and so far so great. Onto track 3, Maxwell's Silver Hammer. I really underrated this album the last time.

Well I'm basically done with it. I think I really did underrate it the first time. I really like it a lot. It's different but it's good. Not sure if I like it as much as the three I mentioned earlier but maybe. It's close.

Glad to see/hear you gave it another go. It's definitely a classic album by one of the greatest bands of all time.
