Next week, the month of September motors along with four more new movies including the suburban thriller Lakeview Terrace (Screen Gems) starring Patrick Wilson and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as the raunchy comedy My Best Friend's Girl (Lionsgate) with Kate Hudson, Dane Cook and Jason Biggs. "Extras" star Ricky Gervais stars with Téa Leoni in David Koepp's spiritual rom-com Ghost Town (DreamWorks), while John Cusack provides the voice of the title character in the scary kids' cartoon Igor (MGM/The Weinstein Co.)

I feel sick and this didn't help.

Lakeview Terrace looks like it will either be good or unintentionally hilarious.

"Igor" is a stupid name. But the movie does have two of the stars from my favorite movie of all-time (Cusack and Buscemi) and it also stars Stifler's Mom. It's also an animation, and those usually do well at the box office, what with the little kiddies and all. So Igor at least has that going for it. Again, though, the badly chosen title could be slightly damaging to its performance at the box office.

I havn't seen much advertising for Igor, so I wonder if it still will rock the parent and kid ticket. Wall-E rocked that hardcore, and did well if I remember.

And well deserved. Saw it with the kids at work, and enjoyed it myself.

I also watched it and was not impressed. I had to bail on it about halfway through the movie. Maybe animations aren't my thing.
