    A good combo of the two is most important. If you have great pitching and shitty hitting, you wont' go anywhere and if you have great hitting and bad pitching, won't go far. Much more fun to watch a great offense than it is to watch a great pitching game (in my opinion).

    in the end though, great pitching is probably most important, especially in say, the world series.
