ERA should come down a bit. My guess would be roughly the same production that we're used to.

Pirates, Yankees Bring Burnett Deal To Commissioner - Baseball Nation
"The reported A.J. Burnett-to-Pittsburgh deal is nearing completion, CBSSports.com insider Jon Heyman has learned. Barring something unforeseen, the trade will be completed within the next one to three days. From there, Burnett will need to pass a physical while Major League Baseball will need to approve the deal."
Barring something unforseen?
Pirates Intern: Whoa, did you check out this Burnett guy's stats last year?
Neal Huntington: Holy crap. Ho-lee crap. Why didn't anyone tell me about this? What site is that? Baseball ... Reference? Well, I'll be.
Pedro Alvarez enters the room
Pedro Alvarez: You wanted to see me, Hunt?
Huntington: NO! I mean, you're fine. You're not going anywhere. You were never going anywhere in a trade today. Not at all. You're excused. Keith, get the Yankees on the line.
ERA around 4.80. He's not good wherever he pitches so I don't see PNC saving Burnett.
AJ is already TAKING an impact....
Pirates' Burnett struck in eye by batted ballPirates pitcher A.J. Burnett was struck in the face by a batted ball on Wednesday, and will fly from the team's spring training complex to Pittsburgh to have his right eye examined by team doctors.
Not the team's "ace" as MLB Network put it
On the plus side, Daniel McCutchen's kid got a college fund from him, so that's one person who's happy about the trade.
And Eric Bedard is the Pirates ace, damn it!
It IS fractured, he will undergo surgery tomorrow.
Trade looks even better now
Either way he is going to be behind the rest of the team but the Pirates might not need a 5th starter til late April.Peter Gammons of MLB.com reports that the recovery period for A.J. Burnett (orbital fracture) "likely is an 8-10 week process."
Yikes. An eye specialist told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Rob Biertempfel that Burnett would probably be sidelined for 2-4 weeks, but Gammons obviously is viewing things much more ominously. At this point, though, it's all speculation. The Pirates are expected to provide a timetable for the right-hander following Friday's surgery.
So a pitcher breaks his face during a bunting drill, and is out 8-12 weeks? This game isn't crazy at all.
