Tied for 1st ATM, will officially be there if Colorado holds on... For now temp tie
They'll still be tied with STL... But yes they're in first if 4-0 Col holds on.
I remember my first beer
Go Pirates!
Part of me wants to pull for the Pirates, but then I remind myself how spoiled the city of Pittsburgh is with the Steelers and Penguins and how the Pirates have served as a nice counter-balance and I change my mind.

I probably hate the Pirates the least out of all the NL Central, so I'm rooting for them.

This team reminds me of the Indians in Major League. They seem to be winning just to spite everyone that told them they couldn't do it.

Where the hell is Wilton during all of this? Pittsburgh sits alone in first place and he is nowhere to be found. I'm sure even Sabu is having a hard time remaining negative.
Must you bait people with every post?
AFAIK, Witlon's started a new job a while back and has been ridiculously busy.

I didn't bait anyone but thanks for caring You lecturing me on posting is pretty rich.
Ryan Doumit begins his minor league rehab tonight and he should be back with the Pirates in early August.
Pirates just split a hard fought series with the Braves. They are going to be a tough team from here on out! McCutchen will be in MVP talks for the rest of the year! I can't wait to see who they add at the deadline as the Pirates sit just 2 games out.
Pirates are getting crushed 7-0 right now by the Phillies with Halladay pitching. Phillies have bases loaded in the 2nd and 2 out. Pirates bullpen is already pretty thin so Morton might have to suck it up to spare them.
