Part of me wants to pull for the Pirates, but then I remind myself how spoiled the city of Pittsburgh is with the Steelers and Penguins and how the Pirates have served as a nice counter-balance and I change my mind.

I probably hate the Pirates the least out of all the NL Central, so I'm rooting for them.

Ryan Doumit begins his minor league rehab tonight and he should be back with the Pirates in early August.
Pirates just split a hard fought series with the Braves. They are going to be a tough team from here on out! McCutchen will be in MVP talks for the rest of the year! I can't wait to see who they add at the deadline as the Pirates sit just 2 games out.
Pirates are getting crushed 7-0 right now by the Phillies with Halladay pitching. Phillies have bases loaded in the 2nd and 2 out. Pirates bullpen is already pretty thin so Morton might have to suck it up to spare them.
