3 at home against Colorado starting tonight with Kip Wells v. BK Kim. I'll get a gameday up on Wednesday, I think, unless my plans change and I decide to go to the game.

Mikey up in the pen, and he's 14 for 14 in save ops this year.

ugh, another ugly loss. this staff is just way too young. not enough time spent in the minors.

I don't know, Gorzelanny definately deserved a spot. We're going to have nights like this every once in a while.

With Kip pitching well on Monday, I can give these guys a pass tonight.

ok let's give him a free pass for last night. still his decision making skills are questionable, his control is not consistant. this staff needs a vetern presence, if for nothing else to end losing streaks.

BIIIIG WIN TODAY!

With a 6-4 lead in the 9th, Mike Gonzalez loads the bases and give up a run with 1 out, but comes back to strike out Matt Holliday and Ryan Shealy to close it out with a 6-5 win.

Zach Duke picked up his 7th win of the season, and the save was Gonzalez's 15th, with no blown.

After dropping the final 3 to the Marlins in Florida, the Pirates head back up north tonight for 3 in Milwaukee. I'd like to do a gameday on Wednesday for the afternoon game, but with my schedule lately, I have no idea if I'll have the time.

Anywhoo, game updates whenever I get a chance. Hopefully the team's future will start to shape up this week.
