    I really just wanted to recite that name again.

    Anyway, Kyle Kendrick gets another chance after being beaten out by 47-year old Jamie Moyer for a previous vacancy in the rotation.

    Fat Joe Blanton is one of three pitchers I use the nickname "Fat" on. The other two are Fat Bobby Jenks and Fat Matt Capps.

    except Fat Joe Blanton was never included in the conversation of the Big Three, Big Four, or Big Two (Zito and Harden, and then Harden and Haren) label for the Athletics' ace pitchers. Kind of ironic, given that he's Fat Joe.
