    A's 2013 Season Thread

    Today the A's exercised MR/CL Balfour's option and declined SS Drew's. They're likely to non-tender SP Braden, too.

    It's possible they could still sign Drew long-term. It will be interesting to see what they do if they don't resign him since they traded away SS Pennington.

    The A's re-signed SP Colon for 1 year. The deal is for $3 mil and has incentives. You can never had too much depth and it looks like they're going to try to resign McCarthy. I wonder if they plan on trading a starter and a spec for a SS or something.
