How many wins will Cahill finish with?

I didn't even realize his win loss record until it was flashed the other day on ESPN's bottom line. 14-5. I know he was an all-star, and has been good all season long, but it feels like one of the more underrated 14-5's out there. He has a very outside shot at 20 wins. He has as many wins as Verlander and Lester. He's 4-1 in August. Worth noting, he's been even better post all-star break.

His team struggles to score runs at times, but it really hasn't phased him so far.

I'm sure they'll start to limit his innings somewhat even if they go bananas and get closer to Texas. I'd guess he has 7 - 9 more starts. I think he at least gets 3 more wins.

I said 16 considering he hasn't had a workload like the one this year so he should slow down. He has been very good and the A's as a whole exceeded my expectations. If Beane would have spent that $8 million he wasted on Sheets a little more wisely, the A's could have made a lot more noise this season.

Eh, everyone is going to have a bad game. At least Rodriguez didn't walk anyone and he had 2 strikeouts in his 1 inning. Last year, he would have lost it after homer and walked a few guys before getting pulled.

I'm not saying he did well. Clearly, he didn't. My point was earlier he would have come unraveled and walked guys. As long as he isn't walking guys and is getting the k's, he'll end up being fine.

I just knew the A's pitching was going to be a lot better than anyone predicted. My friends thought I was crazy to pick the M's to finish last with the A's finishing ahead of them. Who's crazy now?? Its still me but at least I knew what I was talking about
