The A's (12 - 10) travel to Toronto (10 - 12) for a 4-game series. The A's still are in 1st place by .5 games.

Duke vs. Ricky Romero on Thursday
TBA vs. Brandon Morrow on Friday (was scheduled to be Brett Anderson)
Gio vs. Dana Eveland on Saturday
TBA vs. Shawn Marcum on Sunday (probably Sheets)

After getting swept in a 2-game series against TB, I'm hoping the A's can take at least 3 of 4 here...a split at least.

Toronto is brutal. They've lost 5 games in a row and got 2-hit in a shutout tonight. A's will win 3 of 4, if not sweep.

A's lost 6 - 3. John Buck hit 3 homers off 3 different pitchers for the Jays...so much for a sweep. We'll be lucky to get the next 3 now.

John Buck, holy moly. The homers were no doubters too. The second one went upper deck and the last one went to dead center field off the restaurant. No cheapies.

A's get hammered 10 - 2 tonight (4 in a row). Cahill proves he belongs in AAA and Gaudin still sucks. A's are now 12 - 12, but only 3 - 7 on the road.

A's won 4 - 3 today. Josh Donaldson homered. Gio gets the win with Bailey getting the save. Let's go for the split tomorrow!

Not gonna lie, this series (and road trip) has been kinda embarrassing... all the injuries and poor performances are really disconcerting. Like Prov said though, let's go for the series split tomorrow and end this trip well!

Well we were man handled today, to the tune of 9-3. Sheets struggled AGAIN (surprise, surprise), allowing 10 hits and all nine runs (all earned) in 3 1/3 innings. Kooz, Chavez, and Rosales all had two hits, but Sheets screwed us over before we even had a chance to comprehend what was going on.


And so we head back to Oakland, tail between our legs, licking our wounds, our record dropping below .500, from a 1-5 road trip to face the Texas Rangers.
