A's @ Red Sox; 3-game set

Well we're losing this game too. Only it's not even half as bad. It's only 1-0 in the top of the third. But last inning Gonzalez hit a leadoff triple and we couldn't bring him home. It's just been that kind of streak.

Well the new kid Lowire tripled and brought home Lowell and Bay. So it's 3-0 now. Braden is out of the game, and it's only the fourth. Casilla is in as relief.

We were swept outta town by the Sox. We managed two runs against the Sox staff today, and it wasn't enough in the 5-2 loss. Hopefully we'll have a little more luck against Toronto.

how embarrassing...hopefully, we'll have more success in Toronto. Halladay is pitching the first game though...

Rough series, but against a good team, that's expected. I still think the A's will finish out the year much better than the past few games.
