A's won yesterday 7 - 1 behind Blanton and a 17 hit attack that included another 2-run homer by Cust.

A's lost the finale 4 - 3 yesterday. We got that split I was hoping for at the minimum, but it's disappointing after winning the first two of the series.

I actually got to watch yesterday's game. Bummer like you said that we weren't able to take the series. We're starting to slow down a little. I think that everything is starting to catch up on us already. Yikes. But it was nice to see Swish again. I've missed his style of play and his smile.
