At least he wouldn't allow a walk off walk.
I dunno. At his rate, and with my luck, he probably will.
Oh, Embree's performance last night was way worse the Scott Proctor.
yes, he was terrible...granted it was the first time in a few days that the A's held a lead so he probably was caught off guard, but still...
All I know is if the A's keep playing like this they are going to be way to far behind to catch the Halos for the division. This is what 5 games in a row now?
If there's one good thing out of all of this, it's that the Angels are losing too. KC is really putting up a fight.
I would have never thought that the Halos would be on the verge of a sweep by the Royals. A great series for them. The A's however must salvage one game of this series with the Tribe.
2 walks and a dinger by Cust...3 - 0 A's in the 1st
5 - 0 now as Suzuki homers
9 - 1 A's in the 2nd...I missed what happened because I went to get something to eat.
It only took until the 1st batter in the top of the 3rd for every batter to collect at least 1 hit.
I don't even think Embree can let this one get away.
That was only Embree's 2nd blown save in 11 chances last night. He has been good outside of last night's debacle. That being said, he probably won't see action tonight.
