Please, it's no coincidence that Jason Kendall is 2nd among active players in HBP, and he isn't exactly ancient, he doesn't make a spectacular effort to get out of the way of inside pitches.

And Arroyo always hits guys and it's almost always unintentional (sans the hit of the Devil Ray (Singleton?) after the brawl), he's a bit wild on the inside but that's what makrs him effective. ESPN had a decent piece on him, showing how Jeter was absolutely fooled by a breaking ball in fear it was coming towards him, as it broke into the middle of the plate.

I don't blame you, but they are not really thugs, which is what I took offense with. Bronson pitches inside more than other pitchers (and his positive results make it worth it) and Kendall is a HBP machine, nearly doubling his next closest competitor of the same or younger age (Jeter with 92, and he's notroious for leaning over the plate).
