howd blanton do this spring....they still have blanton right?
oh, I was referring to this:

But Blanton will be the #4 this year though; he's done alright I think so far
so who you think will win the most games out of the three pitchers that were with the a's last year: hudson, mulder or zito?
Is Dan Meyer going to be a starter for y'all from the get go?
I would go with Mulder, due to run support.Originally Posted by griffeyfan30
Hudson will probably have the best ERA, though.
hmmmm...that's a good one...I'm going to say Zito because he's due, has had an awesome spring, will have a really good defense, and a better offense...
The Braves offense seems weaker to me...and Huddy is coming back from that nagging hip injury
The Cardinals defense has been downgraded with the losses of Renteria and Matheny...they still should score a lot though
I honestly think they will be close though 15 - 18 wins each I say...+/- 2
Meyer is starting the year at AAA Sacramento...he'll be up at some point
ya i would go with zito.
Thanks. I think he is going to be an absolute stud for you guys.Originally Posted by Providence A's
I'd put my money on most wins on Hudson. I think he is the best pitcher out of the three (when I saw the A's in the regular season (at least 2003 and before), I had hope in a Mulder/Zito/other game, but Hudson was a pain in the ass.
Although, keeping Beane is good for them.
I would have to go with Zito. His offense is still pretty good. It isnt bad. Kendell, Chavez, Hatteberg (Not bad), etc. Zito was always the number 1 out of the 3. He was the elader fo the staff and I have a good feelign about it too.
Well well well. It wasnt an April Fools joke after all. This is excellent news. Looks like this offseason wasn't so bad after all.Originally Posted by Providence A's
Mulder...that offense is awesome. They'll save his butt a lot of times when he doesn't pitch as well as he should.Originally Posted by griffeyfan30
yes, you heard it right...3rd richest team!
