Braden was sent after the loss yesterday...Ron Flores was called up today.

Both Loaiza and Harden have suffered setbacks in their rehab. Harden has been shutdown completely again for a few days. Loaiza has a knee problem. He is on the DL for a bulging disk in his neck. He is choosing not to have surgery on his knee. He wants to pitch through the pain

The news on Harden is very discouraging and I've pretty much given up on expecting him to do shit for us at this point. I'm not even banking on him in any way. This is ridiculous. If he comes back, then fine, but I think he's reached the point where they may have to seriously consider putting him in the pen for good. Obviously, there must be something going on with that shoulder. If there wasn't some sort of structural damage, then why would he have to keep shutting it down? I don't get it.

It might be time for a house cleaning after this season. The land contracts have been signed- let's build some new shit. Beane can do it. The fact that we're at .500 is remarkable considering all the injuries.

our squad on the DL looks better than most teams in the majors

however, i dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing

so basically we are floating around .500 with a AAA-ballclub with some major leaguers thrown in here or there

i can dig it for now

i just hope we get our studs back sometime during the summer before we fall completely out of the race for the west
