So, who in the hell is going to represent this team at the All-Star Game? THAT'S going to be embarrassing whoever we do send. Hmmm, let's see, do we send the guy hitting .256 with 4 HR's and 25 RBI's or do we send the guy with a 3-5 record and a 4.98 ERA?

Harden makes sense as a representative. Maybe Duchscherer or Huston Street if you want to go RP.

Harden is on the DL and who knows how long it will take him to return

He's still be the most valuable A, but if he isn't healthy, I'll take Duchscherer.

I'm not sure here, but I don't think a long reliever has ever made the all-star team and I doubt Duke will make it. Right now it'd be Kotsay or Harden...or no one should go

Agreed, Kotsay or Harden. No one else on the team is worth going at this point.

Yeah, I agree that Duke will not get the bid, even though he's done the best job of any healthy player so far.

Wow, I didn't realize Chavy was doing that poorly. According to the Value Over Replacement Player Stat, he has been the 2nd most detrimental hitter in baseball on the offensive side. Wow.

    Who's the first?

    Aaron Boone.

There are about 4 other pitches, and it should be noted that PT counts, so even if a player is doing worse, if he only has half the PA, he likely won't be lower, which is unfair to Chavy since usually hitters with numbers lower then Chavy wouldn't play (Chavez has the reputation and past performance to stay in the lineup).

Chavez will come around...that I have faith in...it's hard to just blame him when the guys around him aren't doing so well either...

There's another team in the market for a 1st baseman: the Houston Astros. Bagwell is going to be out for quite awhile.

Welp, it's time to play the Halloween boys from across the Bay.

    Giants suck.

    Interleague play needs to go.

Felipe Alou has done a very good job with the Giants with what he has to work with.
