    I don't understand how that run is earned as he only scored because Payton dropped the ball and then picked it up and threw it to Ellis who threw it home...he was barely safe...no bobble and he's either out or they don't even send him home

    he did make an error and they changed it so the run was unearned...at least he semi-made up for it with the homer...though we could be winning instead of tied in theory.

    oh, I'm not slagging him...he has been playing well. The ball slipped out of his hand...it happens. I just meant he at least got us that run back...making up for it would be getting us 2 runs for the 1 that scored to me.
