The A's looked good today. I feel it is only a matter of time before they separate themselves from the rest of the AL West on the way to the AL championship!
GO A's!!

I don't know how many times, but from ESPN.com...
It was also the 8th time the A's have hit 3 homers in a row...now I don't know if that means Oakland A's or the franchise altogetherThe last time a team homered on three straight pitches was Sept. 29, 2001, when Fred McGriff, Rondell White and Todd Hundley did it for the Cubs against Houston's Dave Mlicki at Wrigley Field, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
It was in the recap on ESPN.com, but thanksOriginally Posted by A'sDiehard
I can only assume they mean 8 times in the A's franchise because if you were talking about only the Oakland A's, then you'd say Oakland, but they said A's, which generally refers to the entire franchise...but given that the franchise has been around for over 100 years, I have a hard time believing it's only the 8th time, but then again who knows.
I probably won't be around for the start of the game, but I should be able to catch some of it...
Macha really screwed up bringing in Street in the 1st game of the series when the A's were down by a few runs...3 days in a row and what did he expect?
Not to mention he left him out there to face Wilkerson when the game was tied.Originally Posted by Providence A's
Ken Macha will be the reason this team doesn't meet our expectations.
