There is a very good chance that if the YANKEES can take 5 of 6 gmaes this week, they could be in first place come Sunday evening.

That will depend if the one loss is against Tb then they could but if they only take 2 of 3 against Boston then the best we could do is tie in the L column and that's if Bos gets swept by Chi which i doubt happens.

An L for the bosux, and it doesn't matter how many runs they scored or how many they gave up, as long as it was one more given up than the opposing team.

Bos & oak loses, we now hold a 2 game lead in the WC race(in the L column) and trail Bos by 3. I want to be no worse than 2 back going into Fri Night.

Don't hang your hat on your expectations. Play one game at a time, keep winning, and in the end the result will be fine.
