That's what you get for signing a pitcher who had a career year in a pitcher's ballpark last year.Originally Posted by Generalissimo

He had been great the previous year and a half including being a key to the marlins winning the WS. I liked the signing then and I still like it, he'll be fine when he is healthy as long as we don't exile him like Weaver, Contreras & vasquez.Originally Posted by Providence A's

So who replaces Mussina? I hear Wang threw down in AAA...
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Look for Pavano to win 20+ games next year. As stated by Jim Kaat, "you don't learn how to pitch until you hurt your arm."
I'm looking for him to start 20+ games next year.

I wanted Pavano for the Sox and I thought he'd be really good as a Yankee...not saying he won't be either.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
Yeah all those pitchers come back after injury and win 20 games. Pavano has a sub .500 career record and will not win 20 games next year which proves my theory correct, Joek is a moron.
I look in a year or two, someone will be saying just the opposite...what a great signing and great deal they got with Pavano.

ejk, you are sure going to tick off alot of fools with that comment.
