    A-Rod's bomb claims DiMaggio record

    Alex Rodriguez's 34th homer today was his 20th at home, breaking the record of 19 by a right-handed batter at Yankee Stadium.
    Joe DiMaggio (1937) and Gary Sheffield (2004) shared the old record. A-Rod's homer today was estimated at a whopping 485 feet.

    It's a nice record, but there should definitely be an asterisk on it. When Joe D played, Monument Park and the flagpole were in the field so left-center was incredibly hard to hit a home run to.
    I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
