Rumors are heating back up that the Yankees are trying to acquire Cole from the Pirates. I suppose it makes some sense to trade Frazier since it seems like the outfield is going to be a little crowded but I wouldn't mind the Yankees keeping him either.

well theyll be getting cole... who honestly, i look at as pretty redundant to sonny gray, but whatever... and theyll be in the market for machado anyway. they should remain under the luxury tax for this year.
I'm not too upset that the Yankees missed out on Cole. They should be fine without him and I didn't want to see them over pay for him.
Happy to see that arbitration went better this year than it did last year with Betances.

im not upset we didnt overpay for cole... i just hope it doesnt lead to us overpaying for corbin, teheran or some other second rate national leaguer theyll try to sell us as a potential ace.
I don't know if Tampa would do it, but I think we should look into Archer. I think his bad record has more to do with pitching for Tampa. I think he comes to the Yankees and he could be a top pitcher.

ive been screaming this for months. i love his mentality, if we're gonna give up frazier and adams for a pitcher, archers always been my guy. i question tampas willingness to trade him to us... or boston... though.
Plus we all know he can make it in the AL East.
