It would be my luck some scrub hitting below the Mendoza line would get yet another cycle for a team while the Padres still don't have one.

Not that I really value the cycle any higher than any other nevertheless good 4 hit multi RBI game, but I'm also sick of hearing about that everytime a Padres player gets even just 2 of the 4 early on in a game.

theyll get a cycle eventually, its inevitable. i remember the mets and their fans clamoring for the no hitter all those years, every time one of them would get through 5 innings, theyd all start getting excited. johan finally got it for them a couple years ago.

I personally attended 2 games in 2006 that went into the 9th inning and then they lost it.


I was at a game where Adam Eaton had one going into the 8th or 9th (2004 I think) and the Padres wound up losing the game.
