The Yankees grind my gears (Hammer, enter this thread to answer a question)

So I purchase a ticket to a Yankee game for when I'm in New York in August in early March and select the "print at home" option. For some reason there's a delay in being able to send an email until March 23rd. That's fine, I don't mind waiting since the game isn't until August. But here we are on April 9th and it still says "There is a delivery delay on this event. Please check the Event Detail Page for information on when the delay will be lifted. Once the delay has been lifted, your tickets will be available via your selected delivery method. "

So, for shits and giggles I click on the link to the "event detail page" where it still says "Please Note: All fulfillment will be delayed until March 23, 2015. All Print-At-Home tickets will be delivered 10 days prior to the scheduled game"

That last part of print at home tickets being delivered 10 days prior to the scheduled game is standard practice verbiage on all print at home tickets I've ever purchased, yet in spite of that being written everywhere I've always gotten the ticket emailed instantaneously. Are these jerkwads actually going to make me wait until 10 days before the event to send an email?

    Fuck the Yankees.

I could see the initial delay but I agree it seems strange that you can't go ahead and print out your tickets. Then again I selected my opening day tickets to my Flex card in October and didn't get the confirmation/thank you for purchasing tickets email until last Wednesday. However, on my online account the game with my selected row and seats were there and loaded to the card.

BTW, are you going to NY just for a road trip or you going to the game just as a side for business or family or something??? If you have the time or inclination I highly recommend you take the park tour, reasonably priced and AWESOME!

Awesome, I did those two in the same trip as well. If it's still there Bull's BBQ is really good, it's located in center field as part of Ashburn Alley.

I've been to Citi Field. It was pretty nice.

Stupid Mets beat the Padres in both games I was there, and then to add insult to injury they decided to lose the following two games I wasn't able to attend.

Re: The Yankees grind my gears

I want to be able to say I've been to every team's home stadium (whatever rendition they happen to have when I can go).

So far I've been to (not necessarily in this order)

    Qualcomm/Jack Murphy Field
    PetCo Park
    Dodger Stadium
    Angel Stadium
    Turner Field
    Miller Park
    Citi Field
    Coors Field
    Fenway

This year I'm going to Yankee Stadium and Citizens Bank at least.

I may try and make it to Arlington when the Padres play the Rangers and/or Wrigley for Padres@Cubs, but I don't know at the moment if either is feasible.

Has any Yankee fan purchased tickets on line and used the print at home option?

Do they always make you wait til 10 days prior to the game to give you the email?

I still can't print this ticket.

And since I'm considering going to the game the day before I went to look up ticket prices for that one and it says it won't be available til 48 hours prior

Why are the Yankees incapable of instantly delivering an emailed ticket?
