i didnt really dive too deep myself. most of what i saw said good glove, questionable bat... so i figured at least we'd have a shortstop who could field the position for the first time in x amount of years.
all of you can fill in your own personal x.
He could prolly be OK bat wise if he learned patience. Some ounce of it at least. But I've seen 'experts' say he's a plus glove. I've seen them also say he's only OK and may just be a platoon with Ryan. All in all, Arizona is dumb and that's the moral of the story.
