Derrek Lee will stay retired. The 37-year-old veteran, who last played in the majors in 2011, received an offer this month from the New York Yankees after first baseman Mark Teixeira was injured. However, Lee told the Yankees on Thursday that he won't return to action, Yahoo! Sports reported.

i just wanna start ronnie belliard jr [ronnier mustelier] at 3rd base. cashman cracked me up earlier this spring about him... "we know he can hit, we just have no idea about his glove". everything about him reminds me of ronnie belliard though, which im quite sure is not a good thing. i imagine itll end up being nunez though, which is downright frightening.
