Garcia looking pretty good through 5. Not much offense in this one but it's always a good thing to see Garcia (or anyone for that matter) pitching well.
Davies is also pitching well for the Royals. Spotting his pitches well but not really over powering anyone with his stuff. We got ourselves a little pitching duel here in this game.

Davies is pulled after 5.. giving up 3 ER, 7 H and 3 K.
I think his fastball maxed out at 94 tonight so definitely wasn't really over powering anyone like I said but he was able to locate his pitches and pitch pretty well. Nothing stellar but did a pretty decent job considering the Yankees lineup.
Tim Collins replaces Davies and this little midget (standing only 5'7) is the only lefty in the Royals pen. Collins also has a pretty wacky delivery.
Jeter continues to hit the ball well.. 2-3 tonight with 1 RBI, 1 SB and 1 R.
Aaaannddd Posada has yet to get a hit from the right side of the plate.

86 pitches tonight for Garcia and yet another pretty good outing. 6 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 3 K.
Nothing mind blowing but he did his job and definitely put the Yankees in a position to win this ball game.
He leaves the game with runners on 1st and 2nd so that could possibly change but hopefully David Robertson can keep them right where they are.

it was a pretty bad one. nova looks like hes gonna be one of those, one brilliant, one horrendous outing starters. the garbage man, amaury sanit looked good for a bit there, got a little rough in his last inning, but considering in the minors he never went more than 3 innings, and joe essentially tried to kill him by having him go 5, thats to be expected. the bats look like shit, and have for about 2 weeks now.
