I'm not complaining about anything physical. But the fact that the stadium is averaging 4 HR per game, is just an insult. Babe Ruth in this park could hit 80 HR. It's just, to me, the game shouldn't be played the way that park plays.

And to be honest, you're spending 1.5 billion dollars or whatever on that stadium, none of the genius architects thought to say "Hey, Hank, the ball is just gonna FLY out of here at ridiculous rates"? I mean, someone had to be able to figure out that it was not going to be a "normal" park.

It's just an insult to the game....Home Runs aren't supposed to be this easy to hit.
Look at Citizens Bank or Minute Maid...sometimes parks just have a homerun situation...

Not to mention the fact that it isn't like bad hitters are going yard all the time. And the pitches themselves are bad too.

When you see it in person you realize that it's just the way the park plays...TV angles oversimplify it.

The Yankees gave up 4 runs tonight, 1 yesterday, and 4 the day before.

Just because our offense (which is extremely high-powered) has an extra proclivity to HRs doesn't mean that everyone is going yard.
