Not according to percentages, which you clearly don't understand
That's a 5% difference. Swisher strikes out 142 times on average. That's a lot
last season Dunn struck out 164 (CIN 120 + AZ 44) times in 651 PA (464 + 187), which is 25.19 percent of the time (164 / 651 x 100).
last season Swisher struck out 135 times in 588 PA, which is 22.95 percent of the time (135 / 588 x 100).
25.19% - 22.95% = 2.24% difference in strikeout rate. If Swisher maintained his k rate and had as many PA as Dunn, then he would have struck out 149 times vs Dunn's 164. They both strike out a lot with Dunn striking out slightly more.

just counting ABs it's 31.72% vs. 27.16% for a 4.56% difference.
i cant believe you guys are arguing over this stuff. Regardless, both of their strikeout rates sucks.
and statistically speaking, a player will come closer to his career mean, the more PA he has. Its just the way statistics work.

Swisher has almost half as many PA as Dunn using their career numbers. 26.3906% vs. 21.3779%,which is a 5% difference. They both strike out a ton. 171.5289 k's vs. 138.95635 k's at that rate for 650 PAs. Dunn is also a lot more productive than Swisher (.902 career OPS vs. .816). Baseball reference has their 162 game average for k's as 180 vs. 142.
Yep, both strikeout rates are horrendous. Can't see how anymore could be said on the subject.
